Athens Manufacturing Company paid for the factory's enslaved people's housing.
Partial Transcript: "The following named slaves were agree upon by the Board as the several amounts required of their masters, employers or guardians, to be [paid] into Treasury as licenses for said privilege, or otherwise, to remove them to their own lots or outside of the corporation of the town of Athens immediately:
Athens Manufacturing Company's slaves, $50."
