The University paid Crane & Carlton for enslaved persons, appointments, and improvements to the President's lot for $123.57.
Partial Transcript: "Resolved that an [account] by Crane & Carlton for servants, appointments and other items of improvements on the President’s lot, amounting to $123. 57one/half be allowed and that the Chairman [draw] on the Treasury for the amount of the bill as rendered, and that he also draw on the Treasury for the sum of $500.00."
